Leah Kateb Launches True Love’s Cake Perfume Inspired by Persian Heritage

Leah Kateb is adding another chapter to her growing fragrance journey.

The Love Island USA star has unveiled her third perfume collaboration with Skylar, introducing a scent that feels more personal than ever. Called True Love’s Cake, the fragrance takes inspiration from a beloved Persian tradition and family stories that have been passed down through generations.

Following the success of her previous Skylar releases, Double Dates and Pomegranate Princess, Kateb’s latest creation leans into romance, nostalgia, and cultural heritage. According to the reality star, the fragrance is inspired by the legend of the Persian Love Cake, a dessert often associated with affection, devotion, and the idea that baking it for someone could inspire love.

“They say if you bake a Persian Love Cake for someone, they’ll fall in love with you. I wanted to capture that same sweetness and magic in a fragrance you can wear: magnetic, enchanting and obviously romantic,” Kateb shared in a statement announcing the launch.

The scent itself follows a rich gourmand composition that unfolds in layers. It opens with notes of rosewater, plum nectar, and cardamom, creating an introduction that feels both floral and delicately spiced. At its heart, orange blossom honey, damask rose, and cherry blossom add softness and warmth before the fragrance settles into a comforting base of almond cake, caramelised pistachio, and sandalwood.

The result is a perfume that mirrors the dessert that inspired it — sweet, inviting, and layered with character.

Like Kateb’s previous fragrances with Skylar, True Love’s Cake is vegan, cruelty-free, hypoallergenic, and formulated to be suitable for sensitive skin, aligning with the brand’s commitment to clean fragrance formulations.

With gourmand scents continuing to dominate the fragrance landscape, True Love’s Cake arrives at the perfect time. Its blend of floral elegance, edible sweetness, and cultural storytelling offers something that feels both deeply personal and universally appealing.

The fragrance will retail for $96 USD for a 50ml eau de parfum and is scheduled to launch at Sephora on June 15.
