Willow Smith is stepping into a new season with Free People, starring in the brand’s Fall 2026 campaign and continuing her creative relationship with the American bohemian fashion and lifestyle label.
The campaign feels like a natural meeting of minds. Free People has long built its identity around individuality, freedom and expressive dressing, while Smith has developed a personal style that rarely follows a predictable formula.
“I’ve loved Free People for a very long time,” Smith said. “The idea of Free People is woven into the idea of the free human spirit and that’s something I’ve always connected with, so it felt really natural to bring that energy into this campaign.”
For Fall 2026, the collection taps into the brand’s familiar bohemian language but gives it a slightly sharper edge.

Romantic lace and delicate textures sit alongside structured plaids, while fresh takes on trousers and other bottoms bring a more contemporary feel to the collection. The styling plays with unexpected proportions, creating silhouettes that feel relaxed without becoming predictable.
Layering is also central to the campaign. Pieces are designed to work together in different combinations, allowing the wearer to mix textures, proportions and styles rather than treating the collection as a fixed wardrobe.
That sense of freedom is perhaps what makes Smith such a fitting face for the campaign.
Her approach to fashion has always been personal, experimental and difficult to put into one category. Rather than simply wearing the clothes as presented, she brings the kind of individuality that Free People is built around — taking familiar pieces and making them feel distinctly her own.
The result is a Fall collection that balances softness with structure, romance with edge and Free People’s signature bohemian spirit with a more modern attitude.
The WILLOW x Free People Fall 2026 campaign is now live, with the collection available through the brand’s website.
