Gustaf Westman x Disney Collection Reimagines Mickey Mouse

Mickey Mouse is stepping out of the cartoon world and into contemporary interiors. Swedish designer Gustaf Westman has teamed up with Disney on a collection that transforms the beloved character’s familiar features into sculptural furniture, homeware and accessories.

Known for his rounded silhouettes, bold colours and almost cartoon-like designs, Westman brings his signature aesthetic to three newly revealed pieces: a sofa, cup and tumbler. Mickey’s unmistakable ears and facial features appear in abstract forms, while his iconic red shorts and white buttons inspire the tumbler’s base.

The collaboration feels like a natural meeting of two playful worlds. Inspired by a visit to Disneyland Paris, Westman explores the nostalgic appeal of Disney’s characters through objects designed for everyday living. The accompanying campaign, photographed at Disneyland Paris and styled by Harry Lambert, captures that shared sense of imagination and humour.

Drawing inspiration from Mickey & Friends, the wider collection will extend beyond interiors to include clothing and accessories, bringing Westman’s distinctive design language into different corners of the wardrobe and home.

Additional pieces will be unveiled throughout October and November, with pop-up experiences planned for Paris, Tokyo and New York. The full collection launches globally on November 15.
