OpéraSPORT SS26 Brought Flip-Flops, Florals, and 3D-Printed Dreams to a Swimming Pool Runway

Because who says your runway can’t have a diving board?

OpéraSPORT didn’t just deliver a collection — they gave us a vibe. For Spring/Summer 2026, the Copenhagen-based brand took over Frederiksberg’s local swimming pool and served up a runway that felt more like a sun-drenched holiday in Seoul. And yes, flip-flops were included.

Founders Stephanie Gundelach and Awa Malina Stelter pulled inspiration from a recent trip to South Korea, and the result is a collection that dips its toes into heritage, softness, and high-tech fashion all at once. From the poolside setting (a nod to their hotel views in Seoul) to the pastel-hued palette of sage green, butter yellow and baby blue — the energy was laidback, lyrical, and refreshingly unexpected.

Key pieces included hibiscus-printed bodysuits (a tribute to Korea’s national flower), sheer 3D lace dresses that floated like mist, and embroidered swimwear topped off with vintage-style caps. It was modern femininity, done the OpéraSPORT way — dreamy, directional and never too polished.

But the big flex? A brand-new collaboration with havaianas, featuring the world’s first 3D-printed flip-flops. Developed with footwear tech firm Zellerfeld, the sandals are sustainably made and impossibly cool — futuristic beachwear, but make it fashion.

Crafted from organic and recycled fabrics, the collection also doubles as an eco-conscious reminder that the future of fashion doesn’t need to come at the planet’s expense.
