There’s a new muse in town — and she’s not just walking, she’s floating (on Air).
South African stunner and Grammy winner Tyla is fronting Nike’s Air Max Muse Fall 2025 campaign, and suddenly our sneakers are feeling wildly underdressed. First unveiled in November last year, the Air Max Muse isn’t just a shoe — it’s a full-blown style statement with tech-packed guts and a body that belongs on the runway and the running track.

The silhouette is everything you’d expect from Nike’s latest girl-coded drop: futurism meets fashion meets fitness. Think bold proportions, a softly sculpted upper, and a glossy semi-metallic sheen that’s practically begging to be street-snapped in Shoreditch. The OG colour? Metallic Silver. A shoe that says, “Yes, I lift weights and listen to Charli XCX.”
Since then, new shades like “Oil Green” and “Sand Drift” have dropped — perfect if you’re trying to match your trainers to your oat milk matcha. Designer Can Eldem spilled that the idea was to “surprise women sneaker fans,” and honestly? Mission accomplished. This is Nike’s airiest femme fatale yet.

Tyla, in true “Water” fashion, makes the shoe look like a second skin — effortless, powerful, ready to groove or ghost. “It feels like a workout shoe,” she says. “But it’s not. It’s something that you can wear out.” And by “out,” we assume she means casually slaying at a brunch date, an impromptu gig, or the Nike store (to buy another pair, obviously).
With Jordan Chiles, Qinwen Zheng, and Veneda Carter also sporting the look, it’s clear the Air Max Muse isn’t just a moment — it’s a movement.
