You’ve Got to see Temi Otedola’s Dubai Traditional Wedding Photos

If Temi Otedola and Mr Eazi’s wedding were a movie, the Dubai chapter would be the couture-heavy, heritage-rich sequel that outshines the original. Forget subtle — this was a full-on celebration of love, legacy, and craftsmanship, with fashion credits that could fill a runway show.

Two months after making it official on paper, the couple gathered family and friends at the Otedola home in Dubai for a Yoruba wedding that blended tradition with high fashion. “I wanted some of my favourite designers and visionaries to create traditional Nigerian attire,” Temi explained. Mission accomplished.

Her first look? A sculptural ivory gown by Zac Posen, complete with razor-sharp pleats, a dramatic bow, and a sweeping train. Add a perfectly sculpted gele, vintage-inspired diamonds, and Mr Eazi in agbada with cane-in-hand gravitas, and suddenly you’ve got a portrait that feels carved in history. Temi called the gown “a beautiful take on the classic Yoruba bridal silhouette.” We call it couture perfection.

Then came the red. Temi switched things up with a deep crimson skirt embroidered to perfection, paired with a powder-blue corset blouse adorned with floral rosettes. And because no dramatic bridal moment is complete without one? A cape, courtesy of couture’s undisputed cape queen, Miss Sohee. Bold. Regal. Unapologetic.

Finally, the look that pulled heartstrings: a Lisa Folawiyo creation reimagining akwa ocha into a strapless, beaded masterpiece, finished with fringe that moved like choreography. Layered coral beads and an okuku headpiece sealed the tribute — not just to tradition, but to Mr Eazi’s late mother, whose inspiration photos helped shape the design. It was more than a dress; it was memory stitched into fabric.

A Yoruba wedding reimagined through couture? Absolutely stunning.
