Nike and SKIMS Launch NikeSKIMS Collaboration Celebrating Women’s Strength

Nike and SKIMS have officially joined forces, and the result is exactly what you think it is: a partnership that screams power, performance, and just the right amount of attitude. Branded as NikeSKIMS, the debut line isn’t shy about scale — seven collections, 58 silhouettes, and over 10,000 possible style combinations. (Yes, they did the math so you don’t have to.)

This isn’t your average athleisure mashup. Nike brings its legendary performance engineering, SKIMS brings its sculpting sorcery, and together they’ve created pieces designed to move with you while still holding everything in place. It’s function and form in equal measure, the kind of kit that looks just as good on a treadmill as it does on a coffee run.

The first drop is split into three core collections and four seasonal capsules. Think of it as gym wear with personality. The Matte line offers compression with smoothing panels and sweat-wicking Dri-FIT tech. Shine delivers the same performance but with a glossy finish that basically says, “Yes, I’m here to squat — but also to slay.” And then there’s Airy, a mesh-inspired range built for layering, yoga, or simply existing stylishly in your local pilates studio. Serena Williams herself admitted, “I feel unstoppable when I’m training in it.” If it works for Serena, the rest of us don’t need further convincing.

The seasonal drops add even more flavour. Case in point: Vintage Seamless, with its worn-in wash and seamless knitting technique, giving off that lived-in, effortlessly cool vibe. It’s the kind of set you can wear straight from barre class to brunch without missing a beat.

And because no collab of this scale would be complete without a cinematic moment, the duo rolled out a campaign film titled Bodies at Work. Directed by Janicza Bravo, and featuring the lens work of Luis Alberto Rodriguez and Rob Woodcox, the film showcases more than 50 athletes — Serena, Kim Kardashian, and a diverse roster of women whose bodies tell stories of grit and glory. Kim calls it a celebration of “every woman’s strength and power.” Translation? This collection isn’t just about aesthetics, it’s a movement.

Mark your calendars: the first drop lands September 26 on both the Nike and SKIMS websites. Expect the internet to break — and expect us to actually show up at the gym, if only to flex in NikeSKIMS.
