Timothée Chalamet Proves His Loyalty to Timberlands Knows No Bounds

Timothée Chalamet is nothing if not loyal especially when it comes to his Timberland boots. The actor stepped out for dinner in Beverly Hills last night wearing what appeared to be the exact same pair he wore to collect his first-ever Golden Globe award just days earlier. Proof, if ever needed, that you can take the New Yorker out of New York, but never the New York out of the New Yorker.

The look leaned fully into grunge territory. Chalamet paired slouchy dark denim trousers with a black-and-red jumper featuring a distorted argyle print, a nod to Kurt Cobain, complete with intentionally oversized proportions. Grounding the outfit were his trusty Timberlands: the brand’s premium six-inch boots, custom-finished with Chrome Hearts embellishments. (The luxury label also dressed Chalamet head-to-toe for the Golden Globes.)

The footwear choice echoed his refreshingly understated awards-night look. When Chalamet won Best Actor for Marty Supreme on Sunday, he opted for a low-key Chrome Hearts ensemble consisting of a vest, suit jacket, and T-shirt all anchored by his Timbs. The look stood in sharp contrast to girlfriend Kylie Jenner’s glittering, body-hugging gown at the ceremony.

Timberlands have quietly become a signature in Chalamet’s style evolution. Just weeks ago, he stepped out in the utilitarian boots at the Marty Supreme Los Angeles premiere, where he and Jenner wore coordinated neon orange looks. That particular pair, however, was strictly one-of-a-kind designed in the film’s signature orange hue and finished with Chrome Hearts decals.

As one of Hollywood’s most in-demand stars, Chalamet has no shortage of luxury fashion houses willing to create bespoke pieces at a moment’s notice. Still, there’s something telling about his commitment to a boot that works just as well on the red carpet as it does on a casual night out. If versatility is the ultimate luxury, Chalamet has already mastered it.
