Anne Hathaway is proving, once again, that even the most traditional wardrobe staples can be reimagined.
While continuing the press tour for The Devil Wears Prada 2, the actress stepped out for an early morning appearance on Good Morning America in a tweed skirt suit that felt anything but expected.
At first glance, the look leaned into classic tailoring, a checkered blazer paired with a calf-length skirt, layered over a black turtleneck and styled with sheer stockings and pointed-toe heels. But Hathaway added her own twist. Cinched at the waist with a bold black belt featuring a gold medallion buckle, the silhouette was sharpened and defined.

Then came the detail that changed everything.
From one pocket of the blazer, a dramatic cascade of fabric flowed down her hip, transforming a traditional office set into something far more directional. It’s that subtle disruption just enough to catch the eye that elevated the entire look from polished to editorial.
She finished the ensemble with rose-tinted sunglasses, a simple gold ring, and soft, loose waves, striking a balance between structure and ease.
Beyond the fashion, Hathaway also reflected on revisiting one of her most iconic roles. Speaking about reuniting with Meryl Streep—who reprises her role as Miranda Priestly, the actress shared how different the experience felt this time around.

During the original film, Streep intentionally kept her distance to fully embody her character’s intimidating presence. Two decades later, Hathaway revealed a shift: the atmosphere on set was warmer, more open, and filled with genuine connection.
She also spoke candidly about stepping back into Andy Sachs’ world, noting that revisiting the original film’s soundtrack instantly brought back memories of who she was at 22 along with the nerves that came with it.
