Ariana Grande Just Hired a New CEO for R.E.M. Beauty —and She’s Teasing a Lot More Gloss, Glow & Inclusivity

If you thought Ariana Grande was just out here serving whistle tones and Wicked witchery, think again—she’s also been busy making big boss moves with her beauty brand, R.E.M. Beauty.

In a surprise-but-make-it-slay business update, Ari just announced a major leadership switch-up: André Branch is stepping in as the new CEO. And no, this isn’t just a name drop—he’s got the kind of résumé that makes your LinkedIn profile sweat. We’re talking L’Oréal, MAC, Estée Lauder… the man knows beauty.

According to Ari, it’s a cosmic match. “André has been an incredible gift and a cosmic collision for R.E.M. Beauty,” she told WWD. Which sounds very on-brand for a makeup label named after literal dream states.

The vibe moving forward? More inclusivity, more creativity, and launches that feel like you. André said it himself: “She wants R.E.M. to be a platform for self-expression, diversity, and inclusion.” So basically, expect your makeup bag to get a little bolder and your skin tone a little more seen.

Let’s not forget: since launching in 2021, R.E.M. has been quietly building a name for itself in that in-between space—glam but wearable, nostalgic but modern. It’s stocked at Ulta and Target, but don’t let the accessibility fool you—the formulas are packed with skincare-level ingredients (shoutout to the Sweetener foundation and concealer).

As for Ariana’s current faves? She’s obsessed with the plumping lip glosses (there’s a rumoured new drop coming soon 👀) and swears by the lip marker for that stay-all-day pout. She also teased that a sold-out collection might be making a comeback and that a powder eyeshadow palette is getting a major glow-up.
