Bottega Veneta Launches Alta Fragrance Collection With 10 New Scents
Bottega Veneta

If fragrance is storytelling, then Bottega Veneta’s latest launch is a collection of ten different narratives bottled in glass.

The Italian luxury house, Bottega Veneta, has officially expanded its fragrance universe with the introduction of “Alta,” a new collection comprising ten Eau de Parfum scents. Arriving as a follow-up to the brand’s debut fragrance line inspired by Venetian heritage, Alta looks beyond Italy’s borders, exploring the cultural and olfactory connections between Italy and the wider world.

And it does so in true Bottega fashion quietly luxurious, meticulously crafted, and rich in detail.

Rather than centring on a single mood, the collection moves across a spectrum of experiences. Some fragrances lean bright and citrusy, while others venture into darker, more resinous territory. Together, they create a fragrance wardrobe designed to suit different moments, personalities, and moods.

The collection is built around what the house calls the “Intrecciato duo,” a concept inspired by the woven craftsmanship that has become synonymous with Bottega Veneta. Each fragrance pairs one ingredient sourced from Italy with another sourced internationally, creating unexpected combinations that reflect a dialogue between cultures.

The ten scents; Always Now, Montebello, Balliamo, Bare Morning, Slow Rise, Ricordami, Moment After, Night Sounds, Velvet Steps, and Crepuscolo bring together ingredients from across the globe. Notes include Madagascar vetiver, North African neroli, Vietnamese benzoin, and South Asian oud, each woven into compositions that feel both familiar and distinctive.

Of course, Bottega Veneta paid just as much attention to the bottle as it did to the fragrances themselves.

Housed in recycled glass, the vessel features the brand’s iconic woven leather-inspired motif, finished with a wooden cap and a gold ring detail that nods to Venetian architecture. The result feels less like a traditional perfume bottle and more like an object designed to live permanently on a dressing table.

Sustainability also plays a role in the launch. Every fragrance in the Alta collection is refillable and available in both 50ml and 100ml formats, reinforcing the house’s commitment to longevity and craftsmanship over disposability.

To accompany the release, Bottega Veneta has also introduced a series of bespoke woven leather accessories, extending the fragrance experience beyond the bottle itself.

With prices set at $235 for the 50ml edition and $300 for the 100ml version, it’s now available for purchase on the brand’s website.
