Cameron Brink Stars in New Balance P400 Low Campaign
New Balance

Basketball sneakers are entering a more streamlined era, and New Balance is making its latest move with the introduction of the P400 Low, a silhouette that combines on-court performance with a sharper, more fashion-conscious design language.

Leading the campaign is WNBA star Cameron Brink, whose growing influence across both sport and style makes her a fitting face for the launch. Featured in New Balance’s new “Quiet Noise” campaign, Brink embodies the balance the brand is aiming to strike: technical excellence delivered with understated confidence.

The P400 Low departs from the oversized construction that has dominated basketball footwear for years. Instead, the sneaker embraces a lower-profile shape engineered for agility, speed, and mobility, while maintaining the performance features expected from a modern court shoe.

Central to the design is a low-cut collar intended to maximise ankle movement without sacrificing support. The sneaker also incorporates New Balance’s N-Lock technology, helping secure the foot during pivots, quick directional shifts, and explosive movement on the hardwood.

Elsewhere, a moulded upper enhances durability while a redesigned internal structure keeps the wearer closer to the court, reinforcing responsiveness and control during play.

Visually, the P400 Low reflects a growing trend within performance footwear: sneakers designed not only for athletes, but also for lifestyle relevance. The slimmer proportions and cleaner construction give the silhouette crossover appeal, making it equally viable as an everyday style piece beyond the basketball court.

That duality is increasingly important in today’s sneaker market, where performance innovation and fashion credibility often move hand in hand. Cameron Brink’s involvement reinforces that positioning, bringing both athletic legitimacy and cultural visibility to the launch.

Set to release this July, the New Balance P400 Low arrives as part of a broader shift toward lighter, more versatile basketball footwear on the New Balance website and select retailers.
