Cardi B has never done subtle, and her pregnancy reveal was no exception. During a sit-down on CBS Mornings with Gayle King, the rapper casually confirmed she’s expecting her first child with boyfriend Stefon Diggs — just four months after they made their romance public.
“I’m having a baby with my boyfriend Stefon Diggs,” she told King, adding that the timing aligns with her Little Miss Drama tour, set for February. “I’ve been putting in all this work, but I’m doing all this work while I’m creating a baby.”
It’s a milestone moment for the Grammy winner, who already shares three children with ex-husband Offset. Their relationship officially ended in July 2024, when she filed for divorce after five years of on-again, off-again drama. The two are still in divorce proceedings, but Cardi is clearly in a different headspace. “I’m happy. I feel like I’m in a good space,” she said. “Me and my man are very supportive of each other. We’re really the best at what we do.”

That new man, of course, is New England Patriots wide receiver Diggs — who seems to have mastered the art of keeping Cardi both confident and spoiled. Over the summer, she showed off a $73,000 Patek Philippe watch he gifted her, joking on TikTok that she thought he was shopping for himself. Instead, “Surprise, a watch for you!”
Their romance has been building quietly since February, when they spent Valentine’s Day together in Miami, before making it Instagram-official in June with yacht videos and flower deliveries. By August, Cardi was already deflecting breakup rumours with sparkly receipts: jewellery, date nights, and plenty of affection.
Still, motherhood remains at the core of her identity. Cardi has long said she’s hands-on with her children — Kulture, 7, Wave, 4, and Blossom, 1 — famously telling Vogue Singapore she never considered hiring a nanny. Now, with baby number four on the way, she’s doubling down on both her family and her career.
“Now y’all could buy my album so I can buy Pampers and diapers,” she joked, referencing Am I The Drama?, her new project dropping Sept. 19. Only Cardi could turn a pregnancy reveal into an album plug — and somehow make both feel like breaking news.
