If you thought night one was peak Ebuka, think again.
Big Brother Naija Season 10’s second opening night came with two fashion tributes — and his second look? Let’s just say it walked straight out of a Nigerian history textbook (with a little more gloss and a lot more style).

After channelling ’70s highlife legend Prince Nico Mbarga with a retro newspaper-print suit and vinyl to match, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu went even further back — this time to the 1960s. His inspiration? The iconically extra Chief Festus Okotie-Eboh, Nigeria’s flamboyant Minister of Finance, best remembered for his larger-than-life fashion and even longer outfit trains.

Ebuka stepped out in a crisp white loose-fit top layered over a george wrapper in rich wine and cream, with a trailing hem so dramatic it would’ve had its own fanbase. And yes, he had someone assist with the train — because of course he did. Add a straw boater hat, coral beads, and a walking cane, and it wasn’t just a fashion moment — it was an homage with historical swagger.
Chief Okotie-Eboh once turned heads by having someone follow behind him just to carry his outfit. Decades later, Ebuka’s done the same… and made it red carpet relevant.
Two nights. Two looks. Two legends. And one host who’s rewriting how we celebrate Nigerian culture — one outfit at a time.
