If your summer wardrobe wasn’t already chaotic enough, ERL just gave us a reason to rethink everything with the launch of their first-ever flip-flop—and let’s just say, they didn’t come to play. True to ERL’s chill-but-chaotic energy, the drop isn’t just about the flip-flop… it’s about how big you want to go.
Literally.

The new silhouette comes in three sizes—“Low,” “Big,” and “Huge”—which sounds like a fast-food order but is, in fact, a very real footwear offering. Low is your standard 1-inch sole, sleek and minimal, made from molded EVA rubber and foam. Big goes up to five inches (yes, FIVE). And then there’s Huge, a sky-high eight-inch option that’s only available by request—which feels like the fashion equivalent of ordering off the secret menu at a very exclusive diner.

Designed by Eli Russell Linnetz in—you guessed it—Venice Beach, the new ERL flip-flop isn’t just another hot-weather basic. It’s a full-blown fashion statement. Think relaxed LA cool meets platform fever dream. And honestly? We’re here for the drama.

If you’ve been paying attention, you’ll know ERL has been teasing the flip-flop moment for a while—sneaking it into looks with suits and casualwear across collections. So this launch isn’t random. It’s just very ERL. And with flip-flops trending harder than iced coffee in a heatwave, the timing couldn’t be more perfect.

For now, the flip-flops come in two shades: Pirate Black (because black goes with everything, obviously) and Sand (beach-core, unlocked). Whether you’re going for subtle summer height or full platform chaos, there’s a size—and a vibe—for everyone.
The only question is: how high are you willing to go?
