If there was ever a carpet that doubled as a runway, it was last night’s Green October Event 2025. Forget minimalism — this was a love letter wrapped in lush white and green fabrics (the official dress code), accessorized with statement jewelry you could literally hear clinking before the wearer even arrived.

Uriel Oputa floated in like she’d stepped straight off an Ellie Slaab runway. Her green-and-white one-shoulder gown delivered maximum drama with a sweeping drape that fell from shoulder to train. The glam? Precision brows, liner sharp enough to cut glass, and a soft lip that whispered “effortless” (with the help of a glam squad, of course).

Her co-host, Uzor Arukwe, matched her energy in regal agbada realness. His green embroidered piece gave “royal ease” with layered black beads and a gold pendant doing the heavy lifting in accessories. Add a stainless wristwatch and simple loafers, and it was a masterclass in understated power dressing.
The spotlight didn’t stop there. Nelly Mnonu stunned in Prudential Atelier, Nyore Eroyn repped herself with a custom Eccentric Nyore design, while Victory Wilson, Nana Nikeji, and Alvin turned the carpet into their personal runway, giving photographers (and us) everything we needed for a night of fashion indulgence.
