Scheduled for March 22–23, 2026, at the Eko Hotel, the Beauty and Fashion Fair marks more than the start of pageant activities; it introduces the season’s defining theme, “She is Made of More.” The campaign places emphasis on the multidimensional power of Nigerian women spotlighting resilience, ambition, creativity, and social influence beyond the runway.

For decades, Miss Nigeria has distinguished itself by championing substance alongside style, celebrating women who have gone on to excel in business, governance, advocacy, the arts, and entrepreneurship. The 2026 season continues that legacy, positioning the crown not merely as a symbol of beauty but as a platform for visibility, leadership, and national representation.

This year’s launch also carries a strong fashion-industry connection through its partnership with the Daily Times Young Designer of the Year competition, a longstanding incubator for emerging Nigerian design talent. By bringing the two institutions together, the fair creates a shared stage where aspiring queens, young designers, and creative entrepreneurs can connect, collaborate, and gain industry exposure reinforcing the growing intersection between fashion, enterprise, and cultural storytelling.

Speaking on the significance of the launch, Chairman Rita Dominic emphasized the broader vision behind the season, noting that the initiative is not only about crowning a winner but about empowering a generation of leaders whose impact will extend across Nigeria and beyond. The campaign will also expand into the complementary “Nigerians Are Made of More” initiative, further highlighting stories of excellence across industries.
