NAKED Copenhagen Introduces the New Balance Gator Run to Europe

NAKED Copenhagen is bringing a bold new silhouette to European sneaker shelves with the exclusive launch of the New Balance Gator Run and it’s arriving with a campaign that leans fully into its swamp-inspired roots.

Marking the European debut of the American footwear brand’s latest model, the Danish retailer presents the Gator Run through a soft, domestic lens. Styled with an ultra-femme, pared-back look, the cherry-red sneaker takes center stage, offering a striking contrast between athletic heritage and contemporary styling.

The Gator Run channels classic sportswear silhouettes while introducing an eccentric edge. Dressed in a glossy “Shadow Red” alligator-textured upper, the sneaker feels equal parts nostalgic and experimental. Matching red laces blend seamlessly into the textured finish, while a crisp white New Balance logo on the tongue adds contrast against the rich hue. Grounding the design is a black, running-inspired sole that delivers both traction and a subtle vintage feel.

Shot by photographer Marcus Nielsen, the accompanying campaign is intentionally soft and romantic. Parisian creator and stylist Stephanie Pattano stars in the visuals, which play with intimacy and irony most notably featuring a baby alligator on set. The result is a campaign that feels playful, fashion-forward, and unmistakably memorable.
