Ariana Grande is taking fans back to the clouds with the launch of Cloud Aurora, the newest addition to her bestselling fragrance collection. Following the success of Cloud and Cloud Pink, the Grammy-winning singer says the latest release is the most personal fragrance in the collection yet.
The original Cloud fragrance debuted in 2018 and quickly became a cult favourite, earning Fragrance of the Year at the 2019 Fragrance Foundation Awards. Since then, the collection has become one of the most successful celebrity fragrance franchises, making Cloud Aurora a highly anticipated release.
Speaking about the new perfume, Ariana said Cloud Aurora had been years in the making because she wanted it to live up to the legacy of the previous fragrances.
“Cloud and Cloud Pink are two fragrances that will always be so close to my heart and ones that the fans continue to show overwhelming love to. Developing a new fragrance for this franchise was years in the making because I knew it had to be absolutely perfect.”
Cloud Aurora opens with notes of spun sugar, fluffy musk and juicy blackcurrant before revealing a heart of vanilla-dipped petals and warm woods. It settles into a comforting base of vanilla smoke and golden amber, creating a scent that feels soft, warm and uplifting.
The fragrance was once again created by master perfumer Clément Gavarry of Firmenich, the nose behind both the original Cloud and Cloud Pink fragrances. According to Ariana, the goal was to create a perfume that feels “like wrapping yourself in the warmth and light of a vanilla-kissed daydream.”
Cloud Aurora also introduces a refreshed version of the collection’s signature cloud-shaped bottle. This time, it features a radiant pearlescent finish designed to shimmer in the light while reflecting the dreamy aesthetic that has become synonymous with the Cloud franchise.
Tony Bajaj, President and CEO of Luxe Brands, described the partnership with Ariana Grande as one built over more than a decade, noting that the long-term ambition was to create a fragrance franchise with the lasting appeal of classics like Elizabeth Taylor’s White Diamonds.
Cloud Aurora is available in 100ml and 10ml Eau de Parfum sizes and retails for $75. The fragrance is now available at Sephora.
