Timberland Brings Back Its ’90s Concrete Gray for New Collection

Timberland is bringing one of its most recognisable ’90s colourways back into the spotlight. This August, the brand unveils The Concrete Collection, a new footwear capsule built around its archival Concrete Gray shade.

The collection draws from Timberland’s long-standing connection to craftsmanship and outdoor culture, while leaning into the brand’s equally strong presence in streetwear. The result is a lineup that sits somewhere between workwear, outdoor dressing and city style.

First introduced in the 1990s, Concrete Gray offered a cooler, more understated take on Timberland’s famously rugged aesthetic. For the new collection, the shade returns across several of the brand’s familiar silhouettes, balancing cool and warm tones to capture the energy of city life.

The standout pieces include the Women’s Stone Street Platform 6-Inch Boot, which gives Timberland’s classic boot a more elevated update. A chunky lug platform adds height, while the padded collar and memory foam footbed keep comfort in the picture.

Then there is the Women’s Stone Street Platform Boat Shoe, which takes the traditional maritime silhouette somewhere much edgier. Its platform sole gives the otherwise classic boat shoe a streetwear twist, making it an easy option for anyone looking to mix preppy dressing with a more urban finish.

Together, the pieces show how Timberland continues to play with its archives without losing the details that made the brand recognisable in the first place.

The Concrete Collection is available now through Timberland and select retailers worldwide, giving the brand’s ’90s-inspired Concrete Gray a fresh lease on life for a new generation.
