Timberland is making one of its most recognizable boots easier to live in.
The new Timberland 25 keeps the familiar six-inch silhouette, padded collar and rugged lug sole of the Original Yellow Boot, but weighs 25 percent less. The idea is simple — keep the look people already know while making it better suited to everyday movement.
The update also brings a more comfortable build, with a TimberCush midsole and TimberDry waterproof membrane designed to handle everything from city commutes to rainy days.
The classic yellow remains, but Timberland is also bringing back one of its most recognisable streetwear colour combinations. The “Beef & Broccoli” version pairs deep brown with dark green, recalling the palette’s strong connection to 1990s New York street style.

That balance between familiarity and function is what makes the update interesting. Timberland has not tried to reinvent the boot. It has simply taken some weight off an icon that has spent decades on city streets.
Same attitude. Less weight. It is available to purchase now on the Timberland website and select retailers.
