The adidas Samba has been everywhere, but Molly-Mae Hague thinks there’s still room for another pair in your wardrobe.
For her third design with the sportswear giant, the British influencer is trading statement colours for something considerably quieter. Meet the Samba Slate, a grey-and-white take on the terrace classic that leans into the kind of effortless, everyday dressing Molly-Mae has become known for.
The appeal is in its simplicity. A slate-grey upper meets off-white Three Stripes and the Samba’s familiar gum sole, creating a colour combination that works particularly well with autumn’s neutral wardrobe. Two sets of laces, in grey and off-white, offer a small opportunity to switch things up without changing the shoe’s understated character.

Rather than presenting the sneaker as a dramatic reinvention, Molly-Mae is treating it as a wardrobe regular. The accompanying campaign follows her through everyday moments in the city, reinforcing the idea that the best shoes are often the ones you reach for without thinking twice.
The collaboration also carries personal significance for the influencer, who has worn the Samba for years.
“I wanted to create something timeless, effortless and made to wear on repeat,” she explained, reflecting on the opportunity to put her own stamp on a silhouette she already loves.

Following the response to her previous adidas releases, the Samba Slate continues Molly-Mae’s preference for wearable designs over fleeting trends. And with grey emerging as a versatile alternative to classic white sneakers, the timing feels particularly fitting.
The Molly-Mae x adidas Samba Slate launches October 23 through adidas and selected retailers, while stocks last.
