Burberry Puts TikTok’s “Bus Aunty” Front and Centre in Its Playful Back to the City Campaign

Burberry is clearly in its “we’re having fun again” era — and we are here for it. From poolside glamour in its swimwear drop to that dreamy throwback festival campaign, the British heritage house has been flexing its creative muscles in ways that feel fresh yet unmistakably Burberry.

And now? They’ve gone and teamed up with TikTok sensation Bus Aunty — yes, the same Bemi Orojuogun who’s made millions smile with her red-double-decker-bus poses — for a campaign that’s equal parts London pride and street-culture wink.

The Back to the City campaign is basically a love letter to the capital. Shot on (where else?) the bus, Orojuogun is joined by a crew of rising models — Nora Attal, Rubuen Bilan Carroll, Libby Bennett — plus musician Jimothy Lacoste, who’s provided a playful soundtrack you’ll want on repeat.

“It’s the people who make London feel so unique,” says Burberry’s Chief Creative Officer Daniel Lee, who describes the campaign as a celebration of the skyline, the architecture, and the Londoners who give the city its heartbeat.

The result? A clever mix of high fashion and everyday magic — because nothing says “London” like couture on a crowded upper deck.
