The Lagos premiere of Behind the Scenes arrived with the kind of energy that makes fashion lovers lean forward a little. Everywhere you turned, someone was blooming — sometimes subtly, sometimes dramatically, always intentionally. It was the sort of scene where colour and creativity collided in the best possible way, turning the entire evening into a moving garden.

The dress code, Bloom Elegance, hinted at floral accents and evening glamour, but the guests took it as permission to explore. Some interpreted the theme through soft petals and delicate embroidery; others came armed with bold blossoms, sculptural shapes or colour palettes that looked freshly harvested from a summer bouquet. Nothing felt forced. The beauty was in the individuality — everyone found their own version of “blooming,” and the carpet benefitted for it.
Accessories added their own commentary. Earrings that swung like miniature blooms, shoes in vibrant shades, and little touches that brought each outfit to life. You could almost imagine the carpet whispering its approval as each look passed by.
