Included in the lineup? A pair of future-facing wraparound lenses that feel like a sharp pivot into what eyewear could look like next.

A$AP Rocky and Ray-Ban are back with a new drop, launching the artist’s latest collection for the heritage eyewear label as he celebrates his first anniversary as Creative Director. This time around, the focus shifts toward heavy metal, both aesthetically and materially, as Rocky introduces his first range of optical designs for the brand.
Tapping rap icon Nas for the campaign, the “New Metal” collection leans into brushed finishes and sleek structural details. The lineup spans both sun and optical frames, from wired silhouettes to rimless specs finished with subtle gilded accents. Across the board, the designs balance timeless appeal with a modern edge, offering versatile shapes that feel built to last.
Eight pairs launch as part of the main collection, arriving in softened oval frames and sharp rectangular cuts that move easily between statement and staple. A special-edition ninth pair, however, takes things in a more directional direction. Available exclusively at select Ray-Ban stores, the futuristic wraparound design pushes the classic eyewear format into new territory, merging Rocky’s personal style with forward-thinking construction.

One year into the role, A$AP Rocky continues to leave a distinct imprint on the eyewear giant, filtering archival codes through a contemporary lens that feels unmistakably his own.
The “New Metal” collection is available now via the brand’s website and select retailers.
