Beyoncé has taken full control of her SirDavis whisky brand after French luxury group LVMH sold its stake in the business.
LVMH confirmed the deal on Monday, following earlier reports from specialist trade publications. The luxury conglomerate did not disclose how much it received for its stake or how much Beyoncé paid to take full ownership.
SirDavis was launched in 2024 as a joint venture between Beyoncé and LVMH, bringing together the music superstar’s personal connection to whisky with the luxury group’s expertise in building premium spirits brands.
The ownership change marks a new chapter for the brand as Beyoncé takes the business forward independently.
The move also comes against the backdrop of a wider trend that has seen luxury groups partner with major music artists to enter or expand their presence in the premium drinks market.
LVMH itself has experience with the model through its ownership interest in Armand de Brignac champagne, the luxury bubbly brand associated with Jay-Z, Beyoncé’s husband.
