Because Sunday night TV should always come with a touch of royalty.
If you’re not watching Big Brother Naija Season 10 purely for Ebuka Obi-Uchendu’s weekly style sermons, then what are you actually doing?

Last night, the legendary host continued his fashion-as-tribute streak — this time honouring the one and only Oliver De Coque. Yes, the Oliver De Coque, the Nigerian highlife genius who dropped a casual 93 albums in his lifetime. Iconic behaviour only.

Ebuka’s outfit? A burgundy and gold dream that married tradition with drama. Richly embroidered in geometric and spiral motifs that felt straight out of an Igbo folklore fantasy, his jacket looked like something you’d see at a royal naming ceremony — or, in this case, prime time television. The matching tunic and trousers kept things grounded, while a red cap and coral beads brought the heritage loud and proud.
But of course, because it’s Ebuka, there’s always a plot twist. Enter: aviator sunglasses and a fur stole tossed over one shoulder like, “Yes, I honour my ancestors and serve face.” The result? Cultural reverence with a side of red carpet-ready swagger.
With previous looks paying homage to legends like Nkem Owoh and Prince Nico Mbarga, it’s safe to say this season’s wardrobe is less fashion segment, more walking museum.
So, while the housemates bring chaos and conspiracies, we’ll be here watching Ebuka — bringing culture to the catwalk and highlife to our high-def screens.
