Gap Puts Personal Style First With Its Fall 2026 “Denim on Your Own” Campaign

Gap is giving denim a little more personality this fall.

The American retailer has unveiled its Fall 2026 “Denim on Your Own” campaign, starring rising musician Malcolm Todd and actress Inde Navarrette as they bring their own interpretations of GapDenim to the screen.

Directed by Tanu Muiño, the campaign is built around individuality, with Todd and Navarrette showing how the same denim can look completely different depending on who is wearing it.

The soundtrack makes the message even more personal. Todd delivers a new rendition of Robyn’s “Dancing on My Own,” reworked specifically for the campaign and giving the familiar pop anthem a fresh, more intimate feel.

It is a fitting choice for a campaign centred on doing things your own way.

“Gap has always been at the intersection of music, style, and culture,” said Mark Breitbard, president and CEO of Gap brand. He pointed to the company’s history of creative collaborations and its continued focus on working with emerging voices.

For Fall 2026, GapDenim introduces refreshed washes, utility-inspired colourways and new fits, giving shoppers plenty of room to interpret the collection rather than follow one specific formula.

Todd brings a strong music profile to the campaign. The emerging artist has had multiple songs reach platinum status, while his latest album, Do That Again, debuted in the Billboard top five. He is also preparing for a sold-out 38-date North American tour beginning September 2.

Navarrette, meanwhile, is building her own momentum in Hollywood following the success of OBSESSION, bringing the same sense of authenticity and emotional depth to the campaign.

The pairing works because neither star is asked to fit into a predetermined idea of what Gap style should look like. Instead, the campaign makes denim the starting point and lets personality take over.

“I’ve always been drawn to making things my own, whether that’s through music, style, or the way I express myself,” Todd said.

The campaign is now live across Gap’s digital channels and stores.
