Rip Curl and FARM Rio Launch Vibrant New Surf Collection

Rip Curl and FARM Rio are back with another collection, and this time, they are taking their shared love of surf culture, colour and adventure even deeper into Brazil.

Following the global response to their first collaboration, the surf brand and Brazilian fashion house have reunited for a new collection that brings FARM Rio’s joyful prints together with Rip Curl’s performance-driven approach to beachwear.

The latest range goes beyond swimwear, covering performance bikinis, wetsuits, apparel and accessories. Bold botanical prints, vibrant cobalt blues and playful colour combinations dominate the collection, creating a wardrobe that feels unmistakably Brazilian while remaining rooted in surf culture.

For Rip Curl’s Head of Women’s Design Tara Doyle, the response to the first collection made a second chapter an easy decision.

The new collection keeps the energy of the original partnership but introduces fresh prints and a brighter colour palette, giving the performance pieces a distinctly tropical update.

The campaign was photographed in Maranhão, where Rip Curl surfers Sophia Medina and Duda Cesar appear alongside local talent. Against the region’s rainforest and waterways, colourful wetsuits and tropical prints stand out against the natural landscape.

The location also plays an important role in the story behind the collaboration. FARM Rio branding director Gabriel Oliveira described the meeting of freshwater and ocean as a fitting metaphor for the partnership between the two brands, with the campaign journeying deep into the Amazon rainforest to showcase another side of Brazil.

It is this connection to the natural world that continues to make the collaboration work. Rip Curl brings decades of surf heritage, while FARM Rio brings its unmistakable approach to colour, print and Brazilian culture.

The result is a collection made for people who want their beach wardrobe to perform without losing its personality.

The latest Rip Curl x FARM Rio collection is now available through both brands’ websites.
