There’s something undeniably magnetic about a celebrity comeback, especially when the return is wrapped in light. Lindsay Lohan arrived at the 2025 Fashion Trust Arabia Awards looking like she had stepped straight out of a jewellery box, every inch of her gown catching and throwing light across the Doha night.
The National Museum of Qatar has seen its fair share of dazzling red carpets, but this one had a clear focal point. Lohan, who once called the Middle East home, stepped back into the region’s fashion spotlight in a look that whispered quiet luxury while still commanding absolute attention. Her dress, from Turkish luxury label The New Arrivals Ilkyaz Ozel, was a deep-brown column silhouette that hugged the body with a confidence only years of sartorial experience can produce. The heart-shaped neckline, trimmed completely in crystals, shimmered with each step as though the spotlight was following her on purpose.

The gown’s sleek structure in 100% polyester fell right to her ankles, giving a small stage to her Aquazzura sandals. Black, strappy and complete with an oversized bow, the heels added a little theatrical flourish — the kind that says “yes, I’m back, and yes, you will look.”
She kept her accessories in the same family of sparkle. A diamond pendant and tennis bracelet added just enough shine without competing with the gown, while a black satin Oscar de la Renta clutch balanced the radiance with a hint of softness. Her blonde hair, swept into a neat bun with two purposely undone strands, framed a face glowing with luminous makeup, soft eyeshadow and a nude lip that tied everything together.
It was a glamorous night beyond her moment too. Icons like Gisele Bündchen and Farida Khelfa graced the event, adding even more weight to a ceremony already considered one of the Middle East’s most influential fashion gatherings. As Lohan shared with Vogue Arabia, she attended with her family, making the night not just stylish but sentimental.

Awards also unfolded through the evening. Sheikha Moza opened with the Evening Wear prize for Saudi designer Ziyad Albuainain. Youssef Drissi won Ready-to-Wear, Leila Roukni took Accessories and Farah Radwan triumphed in Jewellery. Miuccia Prada received the lifetime achievement honour, Zuhair Murad accepted the Trailblazer Award and Saint Levant closed the night with a live performance that felt like the final sparkle on an already luminous evening.
Lohan didn’t just return to the red carpet. She returned with intention, with light and with the kind of glamour that reminds us why fashion’s most memorable moments often belong to those who step back in as if they never left.
