The Internet’s favourite cool couple has officially said “I do.” The 1975 frontman Matty Healy and model Gabbriette Bechtel are married, tying the knot in a stylish outdoor ceremony that perfectly reflected their signature aesthetic.

The couple exchanged vows on July 18 at Castillo del Lago, Madonna’s former estate in the Hollywood Hills, surrounded by close family, friends, and a guest list packed with music and fashion’s biggest names.

Known for her edgy, alternative style, Gabbriette skipped the traditional bridal look in favour of a dramatic gothic-inspired wedding gown by Matières Fécales. The long-sleeved dress featured a Victorian-inspired drop waist, an exaggerated hoop skirt with distressed layered detailing, and a sweeping tulle veil that added theatrical elegance. She completed the look with an Old Hollywood-inspired half-up hairstyle, staying true to the dark romantic aesthetic that has become her signature.

Healy kept things timeless in a classic black tuxedo, creating a striking contrast against his bride’s unconventional bridal ensemble.

Among the celebrity guests were Charli XCX and her husband George Daniel, Healy’s bandmate in The 1975, alongside Anastasia Karanikolaou, Fai Khadra, Alex Consani, Devon Lee Carlson, Sydney Lynn Carlson, Quenlin Blackwell, Tyrell Hampton, and Alex O’Connor.

The wedding followed weeks of online excitement after Gabbriette’s Las Vegas bachelorette celebration, where photos of Elvis impersonators, novelty dollar bills, and playful antics quickly went viral.

The couple first sparked dating rumours in 2023 before announcing their engagement in 2024 after less than a year together. In an earlier interview with British Vogue, Gabbriette spoke about building a future with Healy, sharing her hopes of creating family traditions centred around togetherness and celebrating life’s everyday moments.
