Olivia Miles has gone from WNBA Rookie of the Year to adidas Basketball athlete.

The Minnesota Lynx guard has officially joined the Three Stripes, adding one of the league’s newest stars to a women’s basketball roster that already includes Kelsey Plum, Kahleah Copper and Chelsea Gray.

Miles made quite the entrance into the WNBA. She finished her rookie season among the league’s top 10 in both scoring and assists, earned a starting spot in the All-Star Game and helped the Lynx finish with the most wins in the league.

She also set a new rookie scoring record before becoming the unanimous Rookie of the Year.

The adidas partnership, however, has been building quietly. Miles had already been spotted wearing the brand’s basketball shoes for months, with the official announcement arriving shortly after her Rookie of the Year honour.

For Miles, the partnership represents more than footwear. She said adidas’ commitment to women’s basketball felt genuine and reflected a wider effort to create more opportunities for the next generation of players.

Now she joins a roster filled with established WNBA talent while bringing a new generation of energy to the brand.
