RAYE arrived at the 2026 MTV VMAs looking like she had stepped straight out of a modern Hollywood classic.

The British singer chose a Georges Hobeika Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2026 gown that combined soft glamour with serious sparkle. The halter neckline featured a draped cowl front, pearl-like embellishments and delicate fringe, while the fitted bodice shimmered with crystals and sequins.

The real drama came further down. A sheer floor-length skirt was covered in silver beadwork and swirling embroidery, with the colour gradually shifting from warm gold at the bodice into an icy silver-blue at the hem.

RAYE kept the styling beautifully restrained. A short curled bob with bangs gave the look a vintage feel, while a deep red lip, drop earrings and a crystal bracelet added just enough polish.

The result was classic without feeling dated. Even under the bright neon lighting of the VMAs, the intricate beadwork continued to catch the light.

And this was more than just a red-carpet appearance. RAYE made her VMAs performance debut that night with “WHERE IS MY HUSBAND!”, which was also nominated for Song of the Year, before later joining the George Michael tribute.
