During a private shopping stop at the Dior boutique naturally Rihanna stepped out in what may be the definitive puffer coat of the season. While her earlier couture outing leaned theatrical, this look came from Dior Men, underscoring Anderson’s increasingly fluid approach to gendered dressing. The coat itself was a study in contrasts: a streamlined black puffer base layered with an embroidered hoodie adorned in floral appliqués, giving the utilitarian silhouette a romantic edge.

Menswear has long been part of Rihanna’s sartorial language, and Anderson’s Dior, designed with a deliberately unisex sensibility fits seamlessly into her wardrobe. Still, she balanced the volume and structure of the coat with more traditionally feminine elements. Skinny black trousers with a split hem, sleek heels, and not one but two quilted Dior bags stacked together grounded the look in her signature high-fashion polish.

This is far from Rihanna’s only runway grail moment in Paris. Following Anderson’s debut Dior couture show earlier in the week, she attended the brand’s after-party wearing statement earrings lifted directly from the collection. Inspired by a bouquet of cyclamen flowers gifted to Anderson by former Dior creative director John Galliano, the sculptural jewels carried a poetic weight. Rihanna, of course, styled them her way paired effortlessly with a plain white T-shirt and jeans.

From men’s puffers to couture bijoux, Rihanna continues to prove that for her, the runway isn’t a final destination, it’s a shopping guide. And Paris is paying attention.
