If there’s one thing this collaboration continues to prove, it’s that performance and fashion are no longer separate conversations. With their Spring/Summer 2026 drop, Salomon and MM6 Maison Margiela push their hybrid vision even further—where trail-ready functionality meets conceptual design.
This isn’t just gorpcore. It’s gorpcore, refined.
At the heart of the capsule is a modular approach to dressing, built for movement between environments—mountain paths, city streets, and everything in between. Salomon’s technical DNA remains intact, but it’s filtered through MM6’s signature lens of distortion and reimagination.

Footwear leads the charge. The XT-MM6 returns in three new colorways, including an ’80s-tinged pale lime and a stealthy, darker option. Built on Salomon’s trusted Speedcross sole, the sneakers deliver the kind of grip and durability that extends far beyond aesthetics.
Then there’s the standout: the CROSS DUST silhouette. Designed with an integrated technical gaiter, the shoe wraps the foot in a lightweight, protective layer. It’s a clever nod to both Salomon’s trail heritage and MM6’s conceptual roots—specifically referencing the brand’s iconic dust bag in both form and function.
Beyond footwear, the collection revisits accessories with purpose. The XT-15 Backpack makes a return, updated with improved ergonomics and comfort. A contrasting white rain cover, finished with a sharp black logo, ensures practicality without sacrificing visual impact.

What makes this collaboration stick is its clarity. It doesn’t try to choose between fashion and function—it builds directly at their intersection.
The collection drops April 29 via the Salomon and MM6 websites.
