Sandy Liang and Cou Cou Intimates Turn Girlhood Nostalgia Into Lingerie
Remember the excitement of getting ready for a new school year? Sandy Liang and Cou Cou Intimates are bringing that feeling back, but this time, it’s bedtime.
For their first-ever collaboration, Cou Cou founder Rose Colcord and Sandy Liang have created a collection inspired by 2000s mail-order catalogues, childhood sleepovers and the little things that made girlhood feel special.
Expect plenty of bows, including “Days of the Week” underwear and sleepover-ready pyjamas, all wrapped around the collection’s playful idea of “A Guide to Being Well Read.”
But this isn’t about dusty textbooks. Instead, the collaboration celebrates curiosity, imagination and reading simply because you love getting lost in a good story.
Photographed by Annemarie Kuus in Paris, the campaign leans fully into the vintage catalogue fantasy, with models reading The Secret Garden, Kiki’s Delivery Service and The Little Prince.
Made entirely from 100% organic cotton with no synthetics, the pieces are designed for lounging, sleeping and, obviously, reading in bed.
The Cou Cou x Sandy Liang collection launches today, August 27, online and at Sandy Liang’s New York store.
