Fendi Unveils Maria Grazia Chiuri’s Debut Fall/Winter 2026 Collection

Fendi has officially entered a new creative chapter with the unveiling of Maria Grazia Chiuri’s debut Fall/Winter 2026-27 collection, a thoughtful celebration of the House’s century-long heritage, artistic collaboration, and enduring Roman identity.

Marking her first campaign as Fendi’s Creative Director, Chiuri reimagines the maison’s founding values through a contemporary lens, drawing inspiration from the legacy of the five Fendi sisters. Her vision balances Italian craftsmanship with modern storytelling, presenting a collection where fashion becomes a dialogue between art, culture, and human connection.

At the heart of the collection is a series of collaborations that reinforce Fendi’s long-standing relationship with artists. The House partnered with the Archivio Mirella Bentivoglio to revive a limited-edition selection of jewellery originally designed by the pioneering Italian artist in the early 1970s. Sculptural earrings, rings, and pendants echo Bentivoglio’s fascination with language and poetry, while her influence extends into ready-to-wear and accessories, including a contemporary reinterpretation of the iconic Foulard, first introduced in 1971.

Fendi also collaborated with multidisciplinary artist SAGG Napoli, whose bold visual language appears across football scarves and graphic T-shirts, celebrating themes of identity, belonging, and collective creativity.

Together, these artistic partnerships reflect Chiuri’s belief that fashion flourishes through collaboration and shared perspectives.

The accompanying campaign, photographed by acclaimed artist Jo Ann Callis, shifts the focus beyond clothing to explore the complexities of human relationships. Rather than traditional fashion imagery, the campaign presents a cinematic narrative inspired by emotional intimacy, vulnerability, and the unspoken connections between people.

Chiuri introduces the concept of a shared wardrobe, where menswear and womenswear exist in conversation with one another. Tailored silhouettes blur conventional gender boundaries while allowing masculine and feminine identities to coexist through contrast rather than conformity.

Drawing inspiration from legendary choreographer Pina Bausch, the campaign uses carefully choreographed movement, subtle gestures, and physical proximity to communicate emotion. The historic architecture and timeless atmosphere of Rome provide a fitting backdrop, reinforcing the collection’s deep connection to the city where Fendi was founded.

The result is a campaign that feels less like a traditional fashion advertisement and more like a visual meditation on relationships, identity, and self-expression.

With her debut collection, Maria Grazia Chiuri signals a fresh direction for Fendi—one that honours the House’s rich heritage while embracing artistic experimentation, contemporary craftsmanship, and meaningful storytelling.

The Fendi Fall/Winter 2026-27 collection is now available in Fendi boutiques worldwide from July 16, 2026.
