Dior Partners With A24 to Expand Into Film, Theatre and Live Events

Dior is stepping outside the fashion calendar.

The luxury house has announced a two-year creative partnership with A24, spanning film, theatre and live events, with Dior becoming the main partner of New York’s historic Cherry Lane Theatre.

The partnership launched at the theatre with Both Ends, a performance by cabaret artist Justin Vivian Bond, directed by Zack Winokur. The production drew from the life and work of poet and playwright Edna St. Vincent Millay, who was among the theatre’s founders.

And fashion still found its way into the story.

Jonathan Anderson, Dior’s creative director, designed Bond’s costumes, including an archival look by legendary designer Paul Poiret.

That choice was far from random. Millay was known to wear Poiret, while his work also influenced Anderson’s Dior Fall 2026 collection. So the costume became a link between the theatre’s history and Dior’s present.

But Anderson is making it clear that this partnership is not simply another way to put Dior products in front of audiences.

The goal is credibility.

Rather than forcing handbags into films or turning every cultural moment into an advertisement, Dior is putting its name behind the creative spaces themselves. It is a strategy aimed at building a stronger relationship with younger audiences through film, theatre and live performance.

And that says a lot about where luxury fashion is heading.
