Daniëlle Cathari Reimagines PUMA’s Speedcat and Suede

Daniëlle Cathari is making PUMA’s classics feel a little less familiar.

For her latest collaboration with the sportswear giant, the designer revisits the Speedcat and Suede, using premium materials and subtle construction changes instead of loud branding to give both silhouettes a new personality.

The Speedcat arrives in rich burgundy leather with a laceless construction inspired by an archival PUMA design. Its streamlined shape is finished with debossed details at the heel that double as Cathari’s signature logo.

The Suede takes a softer approach in pale blue suede, keeping its familiar gum sole while giving the iconic Formstrip a playful wrapped treatment. A tonal CATHARI wordmark appears across the tongue.

The accompanying campaign follows the same quiet approach, pairing clean studio portraits with simple wardrobe staples that keep the attention on the shoes.

It is sportswear without the noise — classic PUMA silhouettes, just stripped back through Cathari’s lens.

PUMA x Daniëlle Cathari launches September 26.
