Priscilla Ojo Turns Zanzibar Into a Maternity Style Moment with Juma Jux

Golden sands, gentle waves, and a mum-to-be glow that could outshine the Zanzibar sun—Priscilla Ojo’s maternity throwback is pure magic.

The actress and influencer recently shared snaps from her trip with husband and singer Juma Jux, captioned simply, “TBT, Zanzibar.” But the pictures themselves? They’re an entire love letter to island romance, with just the right dose of fashion drama.

Her first look could have stepped straight out of a romantic film set in a coastal palace garden. A sweeping gold gown, complete with a floor-length train and regal cape, wrapped beautifully around her bump like it was designed for this very moment. Her hair was pulled back to reveal delicate pearl earrings, while Juma kept his look breezy in white linen—timeless, easy, and perfectly in sync. The backdrop? White stone steps framed by lush greenery, giving us an intimate yet cinematic scene.

Then came the beach shots—because what’s Zanzibar without a little sand between your toes? Priscilla traded the gown for a two-piece gold co-ord: a halter crop top and a high-waisted skirt that moved like liquid in the coastal breeze. Minimal jewellery, hair styled high, and that soft, golden seaside light made for a maternity lookbook that’s equal parts laid-back and luminous. Juma stayed true to his earlier relaxed style, letting Priscilla’s sunlit glow and the warm hues of the ocean do all the talking.

Honestly? If this is how maternity throwbacks are done, we’re taking notes.
