Just when you thought your winter wardrobe was ready, Uniqlo and JW Anderson said, “Not so fast, darling.”
The king of elevated basics has teamed up once again with Britain’s most playfully preppy designer, Jonathan Anderson, for a Fall/Winter 2025 collection that’s basically an ode to the great British countryside — minus the mud. Think hunting jackets without the hunt, fisherman knits that have never touched a boat, and enough herringbone to make your granddad proud.

Anderson’s having quite the year, by the way. After showing his first collection for Dior and earning a TIME 100 nod, he’s still keeping his namesake brand firmly in the conversation — because, of course, he is. And this Uniqlo drop? It’s very booked, busy, and British.
The vibe is cozy functionality meets posh practicality. We’re talking padded coats inspired by vintage hunting gear, corduroy pants with roomy workwear pockets, and a giant poncho that doubles as both outerwear and blanket — perfect for those nights where “hot chocolate by the fire” is more fantasy than reality.
Then there are the knits. Lambswool, herringbone, and pops of butter yellow, blood orange, and icy blue — Anderson’s color play is the fashion equivalent of a warm pub meal: comforting, classic, but just enough flair to keep things interesting.

JW Anderson, UNIQLO
“This season updates the British winter wardrobe with ease of styling and universal playfulness,” Anderson said. Translation? You’ll look like you just stepped off a countryside estate, even if your commute is just five stops on the train.
The Uniqlo x JW Anderson Fall/Winter 2025 collection drops October 16 online and in stores — which means it’s time to make space in your closet for your new Brit-core essentials.
