Beyoncé has officially entered the billionaire club.
According to Forbes, the Grammy-winning superstar is now the fifth musician in history to reach billionaire status, following the massive success of her Cowboy Carter tour and decades of earnings from music, touring and global brand partnerships.

The 44-year-old artist now joins an elite group that includes Jay-Z, Rihanna, Bruce Springsteen and Taylor Swift. Jay-Z became the first musician to reach billionaire status in 2019.
Forbes reports that Beyoncé crossed the billion-dollar threshold after the Cowboy Carter tour grossed over $400 million in ticket sales, alongside an estimated $50 million in merchandise revenue. The tour followed her Renaissance World Tour, which generated nearly $600 million globally in 2023.
While Beyoncé has expanded her business portfolio in recent years — launching haircare brand Cécred, whiskey label SirDavis, and previously fronting Ivy Park — Forbes notes that the foundation of her wealth remains music. Touring, catalogue ownership and sponsorship deals continue to be her strongest financial drivers.

Earlier this year, Forbes valued Beyoncé’s net worth at $800 million, predicting she would cross the billionaire mark after another major touring cycle. That forecast has now been realised.
Beyond live performances, Beyoncé has also earned significantly from related projects. She produced a Renaissance concert film and distributed it directly through AMC Theatres, securing nearly half of the film’s $44 million global box office revenue. A Netflix Christmas Day NFL halftime performance and a high-profile Levi’s campaign added tens of millions more to her earnings.

In total, Forbes estimates Beyoncé earned $148 million in 2025 before taxes, ranking her as the third highest-paid musician in the world this year.
Her most recent album, Cowboy Carter, released in 2024, received widespread critical acclaim and went on to win Album of the Year at the Grammy Awards — the first time Beyoncé claimed the category after four previous nominations. The project was also praised for centring and contextualising the Black roots of country music.
Despite some ticket price adjustments across select tour dates, Cowboy Carter continued to break records, including major milestones at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London and Stade de France in Paris. The tour also recorded the highest top-priced ticket of any artist visiting the UK in 2025, reinforcing Beyoncé’s unmatched global demand.
