Rachel Sennott is taking over fashion storytelling this time with a script in her hands.
The actress, comedian, and screenwriter stars in and wrote The Scene, a new micro-drama created for Marc Jacobs, marking the launch of the brand’s new storytelling platform, Question Marc.
Blending fashion, film, and internet culture, the series moves away from traditional campaign formats and instead leans into episodic storytelling designed for social platforms. It’s less about a single ad and more about building a narrative universe around the brand.
Set in Manhattan, The Scene follows Sennott through a chaotic, comedic day as she attempts to secure an invite to a high-profile gala. The tone is fast, witty, and self-aware, very aligned with Sennott’s signature comedic style.

Alongside the storyline is the introduction of the new Scene Bag, which becomes a visual anchor throughout the film. The campaign also features cameos from Francesca Scorsese, Morgan Maher, True Whitaker, and Sandra Bernhard, adding to the layered, character-driven feel of the project.
The bag itself is designed to stand out. Available in three sizes and multiple colorways, it features sculptural lines, signature hardware, and the bold J Marc logo. The campaign also expands the brand’s core accessories offering with new iterations of The Tote Bag and The Snapshot.
