Jonathan Anderson’s newest offering explores the intersection of craft, creativity, and everyday life.
JW Anderson is deepening its connection to the art world with a new collection that feels as much like a curated exhibition as it does a fashion release. Designed by Jonathan Anderson, the collection draws inspiration from the people, objects, and artistic practices that inform his creative universe, creating a rich dialogue between fashion, craftsmanship, and contemporary culture.
Captured by photographer Heikki Kaski, the accompanying campaign features a diverse cast of creatives and collaborators, including Dree Hemingway, Luna Blaise, Akiko Hirai, Ivor Braka, and Dr. James Fox. Their inclusion reinforces the collection’s emphasis on artistic community and creative exchange.
The garments themselves embrace an intentionally lived-in aesthetic. Draped eveningwear appears casually pinned together, camisoles slip effortlessly off the shoulder, and Japanese denim is designed to evoke the look of garments lovingly repaired and worn over time. Familiar JW Anderson signatures also return, including updated Twist Jeans and Fold-Over Trousers, while oversized knitwear introduces organic textures inspired by the natural landscape.
Nature serves as a recurring theme throughout the collection. Earth-toned palettes, wildflower-inspired embellishments, and whimsical accessories create a sense of playfulness and craftsmanship. Among the standout pieces is the brand’s signature Squirrel Clutch, reimagined alongside animal-inspired knitwear, including a vibrant orange hare sweater that celebrates Anderson’s fondness for storytelling through design.

The collection also expands beyond apparel through a collaboration with Johnstons of Elgin, further emphasizing traditional craftsmanship and artisanal production. This handcrafted spirit extends into a new range of home and garden objects, including naturally dyed cushions, mugs created with Wedgwood, handmade willow hampers, vintage-inspired parasols, and even a sleigh bell produced by John Taylor Bell Foundry, marking the foundry’s first such creation in more than a century.
