Summer nostalgia meets British cool in Burberry’s latest High Summer 2026 campaign, titled “Life at the Lido.” Fronted by returning model Alva Claire alongside Simone Ashley and Tom Blyth, the campaign captures the easy rhythm of British open-air pool culture at its most cinematic.

Shot as a sun-drenched portrait of leisure, the visuals unfold around the iconic lido experience complete with synchronized swimmers, divers, and a cast of characters that includes Babacar N’Doye and Sacha Quenby. It’s a snapshot of fleeting summer moments: warm air, cold water, and the strangers who briefly become part of your day.
According to Burberry Chief Creative Officer Daniel Lee, the concept is rooted in nostalgia and shared British experience. “A lido holds a particular kind of nostalgia for the British. The moment the sun comes out, we make the most of the weather,” he notes, framing the campaign as a celebration of collective summer memory.
The High Summer 2026 collection itself leans into Burberry’s evolving seasonal identity. Classic check bikinis, lightweight cover-ups, shirts, and slides appear alongside fresh interpretations in aubergine purple and cornflower blue, expanding the brand’s traditional palette while staying anchored in heritage codes.

Elsewhere, festival-ready ribbed tanks, checked sunglasses, silk scarves, and bucket hats reinforce the collection’s versatility, while new-season accessories like the Margate Pouch and Margate Shoulder Bag round out the lineup with a coastal, carry-everything energy.
With its mix of nostalgia, sport, and style, Burberry’s “Life at the Lido” is less a campaign and more a moodboard for the perfect British summer.
