If summer had a permanent wardrobe, Pittanga would be at the centre of it.
The Brazilian swimwear label, Pittanga, is quietly building a name for itself by doing something deceptively simple making swimwear that actually feels like Brazil. Think endless coastline energy, warm skin, bossa nova rhythms in the background, and silhouettes designed for real bodies moving through real beach days.
Founded by model and entrepreneur Juliana Nalú, Pittanga is manufactured entirely in Rio de Janeiro, staying rooted in the city that inspires it. Every collection draws from local nature, beach culture, and a distinctly Brazilian sense of ease where style is not overthought, but instinctive.
But behind the sun-drenched visuals is a much more intentional design philosophy.
Pittanga was born out of Nalú’s personal search for high-quality swimwear that prioritises comfort, structure, and longevity over seasonal trend cycles. That commitment shows up in the production process, where the brand enforces strict quality control standards. In fact, two entire production runs were scrapped before launch simply to ensure the final fit and construction met the designer’s expectations.
That level of precision is what sets the label apart in an already saturated swimwear space.

Even the name carries personal weight. Pittanga is named after Nalú’s mother’s favourite Brazilian fruit, grounding the brand in family memory and cultural identity. It is this blend of intimacy and craftsmanship that gives the label its quiet but confident identity.
Beyond aesthetics, Pittanga is also built on purpose.
A percentage of every purchase goes directly to Favela Seeds, a nonprofit organisation that supports educational and recreational opportunities for children and young people living in Rio de Janeiro’s favelas. It is a reminder that the brand’s vision extends beyond the beach into community, access, and opportunity.
