Rare Beauty is spotlighting the richness and diversity of Latin American identity with its newest campaign, “Every Story Belongs.” Created in honor of the launch of the brand’s True to Myself Natural Matte Longwear Foundation, the campaign brings together 48 individuals from across Latin America each representing one of the foundation’s shades.
Inspired by founder Selena Gomez’s belief that “there isn’t one way to be Latina,” the campaign challenges narrow beauty standards while celebrating the depth, individuality, and cultural diversity within the Latine community.
“Growing up, I didn’t always see myself reflected in beauty campaigns, and when I did, it felt one-dimensional,” Gomez shared in a press release. “I wanted this campaign to show the depth and diversity within our community. There isn’t one way to be Latina. There isn’t one shade, one story or one voice. We deserve to see ourselves fully.”
Photographed by Brittany Bravo, the campaign embraces an authentic visual approach rooted in cultural representation. Through intimate portraits and minimal styling, the imagery allows each individual’s identity, complexion, and personal story to take center stage.

The campaign also features well-known personalities including Desi Perkins and Pili Montilla, further reinforcing the message that Latin American identity cannot be defined by a single appearance, language, or experience.
By highlighting a broad range of skin tones, hair textures, and cultural backgrounds, Rare Beauty continues its ongoing commitment to inclusivity and emotional authenticity within the beauty industry.
The “Every Story Belongs” initiative arrives at a time when conversations around representation in beauty remain more important than ever. Rather than presenting diversity as a trend, the campaign positions inclusion as something foundational both in beauty and in storytelling itself.
