There’s something about the English countryside that feels tailor-made for romance, nostalgia, and endless summer daydreams. For its Summer 2026 campaign, Cou Cou taps into exactly that feeling, delivering a collection that celebrates soft femininity while retaining the quiet confidence that has made the brand a favorite among Gen Z fashion lovers.
Set against rolling green landscapes and idyllic countryside scenery, the campaign marks a return to the place where founder Rose Colcord first envisioned the brand. More than just a seasonal collection, the campaign feels deeply personal, reflecting the philosophy that has shaped Cou Cou since its inception.
Reflecting on the inspiration behind the campaign, Colcord shared that the landscape remains inseparable from the brand’s identity.
“Looking back now, it feels almost impossible to separate the landscape from the brand itself. It was here that I began imagining a different way of being and a new philosophy of femininity and freedom: a brand that honored the truth of our female, embodied experience.”

Photographed by Lauren Leekley and featuring models Alana Champion, Noor Mutsaers, and Rachelle Harris, the campaign unfolds through a series of ethereal images that feel lifted from a vintage film reel. The visual storytelling perfectly complements the collection’s romantic spirit, balancing innocence with a subtle sense of rebellion.
Leading the collection is French Blossom, Cou Cou’s first-ever printed cotton voile fabric. Featuring delicate vintage-inspired florals, the print debuts on two new silhouettes: the Jardin Dress and the Jardin Mini. Both designs feature romantic bodices, soft lines, and intricate French lace trim, creating pieces that feel timeless yet distinctly modern.
The collection also sees the return of beloved Cou Cou staples, including the Iris Slip and Iris Tank, crafted from the brand’s signature lightweight organic cotton voile. The hypoallergenic fabric reinforces the brand’s commitment to comfort while maintaining the effortlessly feminine aesthetic that has become its hallmark.
The mood of the collection evokes the carefree imagery of French New Wave cinema, sunlight filtering through lace curtains, afternoons spent reading in wildflower fields, and wardrobes filled with heirloom-inspired pieces. It’s easy to imagine these looks hanging alongside vintage treasures in the closet of style icons like Jane Birkin.

Fans of the brand have even more to look forward to throughout the summer. Additional drops are scheduled across June and July, including new colourways of the now cult-favorite Rina Top, a style that has already found admirers among fashion-forward celebrities such as Sabrina Carpenter and Kaia Gerber.
With its dreamy countryside setting, romantic silhouettes, and celebration of feminine freedom, Cou Cou’s Summer 2026 collection perfectly captures the feeling of summer at its most magical: running barefoot through meadows, getting lost in a good book, and embracing the beauty of simply being present.
The collection is available now through Cou Cou’s website and at the brand’s New York pop-up, which remains open through June 20.
