Valentino Beauty Launches Vendetta Fragrance Collection With Dakota Johnson and Alexander Skarsgård

After six years away from launching a new prestige fragrance franchise, Valentino Beauty is opening a fresh chapter with Vendetta, a dual fragrance collection that pairs Dakota Johnson and Alexander Skarsgård as the faces of its most significant scent debut in years.

Drawing inspiration from the House’s fragrance archives while embracing a more contemporary vision of luxury, Vendetta Donna and Vendetta Uomo revive a name first introduced by founder Valentino Garavani in 1991. Rather than simply revisiting the past, the new collection reinterprets Valentino’s heritage through themes of intimacy, instinct, and individuality for a new generation of fragrance lovers.

The launch signals a major expansion of Valentino Beauty’s fragrance portfolio, introducing two complementary scents designed to reflect modern relationships without relying on traditional gender stereotypes.

Created by master perfumer Dominique Ropion alongside Andrew Everett, Vendetta Donna is a floral gourmand woody fragrance built around what Valentino describes as the “most carnal expression of tuberose.” At its heart is the exclusive Tuberose Osmobloom, extracted using Air-Capture technology to preserve the flower’s natural richness while delivering a luminous, contemporary finish.

Meanwhile, Vendetta Uomo, composed by perfumer Marie Salamagne, explores masculine sensuality through texture and contrast. The woody spicy gourmand fragrance opens with vibrant Peruvian ginger CO₂ before unfolding into a warm cinnamon liquor accord, balancing freshness with depth.

The campaign, photographed by legendary fashion duo Inez & Vinoodh, introduces Johnson and Skarsgård not simply as celebrity ambassadors but as two individuals connected by instinct rather than convention. Set against a cinematic backdrop, the visuals portray a modern romance built on emotion, freedom, and unapologetic connection, reinforcing the narrative behind the fragrances.

“I couldn’t be happier to join Valentino Beauty for this new chapter,” Skarsgård said in a statement. “There’s something so compelling about the way the brand celebrates individuality, emotion and connection.”
